Madeline's Spa Day!

My friend, Alisa, and I took our girls, Madeline and Aubren, to Zen Spa on Saturday for their very first manicure and pedicure experience. Alisa and I had taken our girls many times to the spa to get their nails painted but they had never had the "royal treatment" like the mommies. We had been talking about it for weeks and it all came down to Saturday. The girls were in heaven and Alisa and I now worry we spoiled them! The pedicure chairs were complete with tiaras, a DVD player to watch a movie, lights that changed the water color and of course much pampering from the staff. Here is a video capturing only a bit of the experience. Oh, how my little Madeline is such the DIVA in training. Oh my!

Halloween Fun

Trick-or-treating at Nana's house this year was lots of fun. Bret had to work and Madeline was with Adam so Landon, Caroline and I headed over to Nana's house. Landon was a cowboy and Caroline was his horse. It was so adorable! Although there was NO RIDING this horse where Landon was concerned. This horse was for observation and cuteness only! And yes, we did have to tell him that.

Mommy and Landon carved a pumpkin and did the Pumpkin Parable. I don't think he understood any of it, but I gave it my best intentional effort. We had fun despite the educational blunder and our Pumpkin turned out well.

Caroline: (in her head) Yes, bubba. This is my play time. Isn't this fun?
