Continuing the Build-a-Bear Tradition

Well, it seems we have established a Build-a-Bear tradition that I didn't even know we had established. How did it begin? It all started when Madeline was born and my cousin-in-law gave her an elephant Build-a-Bear for her birth. Madeline loved it and played with it when she got old enough to. However, somehow between 5 moves all over the Dallas area, it has gotten lost. One down....

Then, here came Landon. In an effort to incorporate Madeline into the role of "big sister" and make her feel special, my sister Amy took Madeline to Build-a-Bear to pick one out for Landon. It was to be Madeline's "big sis" gift to Landon, a special gesture to show her love for her new brother. The result- a white dog named Spider Man for Landon and a purple Pegasus for Madeline. How she swindled Amy into getting her one is beyond me. But, what are aunts for? Landon sleeps with Spider Man every night. I'll show you another post of bed time later. It's too funny.

Now comes Caroline. Madeline decided that since she had gotten Landon a Build-a-Bear, she needed to get Caroline one as well. I could tell she had ulterior motives, but Amy and Nana fell for it. So, off to Build-a-Bear went Madeline and Landon with Nana and Amy to get Caroline her own. The outcome: Fluffy, a prim and proper bunny for Madeline, Fifi, a cute fuzzy bunny for Caroline and Alli Gator, a football Dino for Landon. My little munchkins sure know how to get what they want. I guess it's a good thing we are not having any more kiddos...Amy and Nana might have to take out a second mortgage just to shop at Build-a-Bear a third time.

Tradition Established. Tradition Ended. Meet our new friends. Madeline and Fluffy
